About

Ashley Marallo Green

MSW, LICSW

I am human like you. While our stories and the details of our experiences may differ, there is a common thread in our humanity, and I believe a shared link in our spirits.

We walk parallel paths, feeling many of the same feelings, fears, hopes, losses, stressors, and vulnerabilities.

We all want to be happy, safe, whole and loved. And we all experience trauma that gets in our way. It is part of our human experience, and I believe it is how we grow, evolve, and expand in our capacity to love. I believe this is why we are here.

I have walked my own healing path to get here and continue to walk it as I support others. I believe this is essential for me to be grounded, clear, humble, and open-hearted. I’m happy to share more with you as it is helpful to your process.

I have immense respect for people wanting to do their work, as I know the courage it takes to show up, own your stuff, feel your feelings, be in your body, face your fears, and tolerate the discomfort of presence and change. I know there is no “right” way to do it, though we all, at some point, definitely feel like we’re doing it wrong. And I know we can’t do it without vulnerability and connection, whatever that looks like to us.

Holding space for this process is an honor and a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

I am grateful to have the training and skills to put into practice the calling of my heart:

  • MSW (Master’s in Social Work), University of Montana 2010
  • Licensed LICSW in the state of Washington
  • Ordained Minister, People of the Heart
  • Training in the Braided Way and Andean Mesa Shamanic traditions
  • 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

My clinical background and experience includes a broad range of roles and settings, including child and family based services, residential care, wilderness therapy, addictions, program development and supervision, crisis management, and training and education.

In private practice since 2018, my passion is helping people heal from complex trauma and grief, integrating these experiences through a holistic lens that bridges the gap between the worlds of mental health and spirituality/energy work.

As a human, my favorite things are my family and chosen family, my Great Dane, trees, hiking, cheese, coziness, puzzles, yoga, deep authentic relationships, tea, spaciousness, purple, collecting rocks, animated movies, fantasy books, live music, road trips, and exploring states of consciousness.
